Exterior car cleaning products

A pH-neutral shampoo, which cleans without stripping existing waxes and coatings, used with a microfibre mitt and the two-bucket method: one bucket of shampoo, one of clean water to rinse the mitt, ideally with a grit guard at the bottom.

Start with the wheels and tyres, the dirtiest parts, so you don't splash grime onto clean paintwork. Then wash the body from top to bottom, rinse, dry with a microfibre towel and apply protection if you wish.

It removes what shampoo can't: brake dust particles, tar and insect residue. The paint feels smooth again and the protection you apply afterwards lasts longer.
